As most of you, I attended art classes in school through my freshman year of high school. Teaching us about lines, shapes, and colors, the teachers always encouraged us to use our imagination and create something that our parents would put on their refrigerator. Then I took a photography class and started documenting subjects with pictures.
Years later I started to see that photography can also be artistic. Reading and seeing examples in magazines like Outdoor Photography helped me to play around not being afraid to be artistic once again.
With my nature images I usually take and process them the way I remember seeing the subject with the camera. But other times I take the liberty to be creative with nature through the post-processing.
Above are three images of a lily, each one came from the same RAW file captured in the camera, but I processed the file three different times, giving three different looks.
